Late up. Checked surf report. Flat. Till Sat. Proof.
Not a happy bunny. Oh well. Nothing I can do about it. Off to Falmouth. Others needed a cuppa so we discovered the Fuel cafe. I discovered French toast (eggy bread roll) and I discovered how nice this is with bacon and maple syrup. Fuel is a fabulous place. The waitress was lovely, and got our sense of humour, and they had board games there, so we played the Logo TV and Film game while we ate. Hilarious. Until Nan won it for the other team on the last question. The only one she flaming answered. Also worrying that she thought I had brought the game with me in my rucsac.
National Maritime Museum, Falmouth... courtesy of Mr Tescos. I was very taken with Rita..
If only this were still the case..
Shackelton's string vest..
I'll stick to Hollowfibre, polar fleece and down, ta.
Cool dual paint scheme..
Lol!..
LOL! LOL!!
Maybe not so cosy when in the sea having ejected from your aircraft..
Back to old Rita..
View from the tower..
And from under the sea.. was freezing down there. You could feel the temperature drop os you went down the stairs..
I seem to have made a habit of getting kicked out of museums! Some dressing up this time, no magic tricks, but they did want to close. Made it to the gift shop in time for my pencil and Chalkie's tea towel!
Tea at the Brewers Fayre in Fraddon. I was still full of Fuel, so had salad (much to Emsy's disgust!). Half watched the Footy (England back to being crap) mostly played on the iPad. TGF Apple!
