You know you're getting old when a 12 year says to "I think you'd better take it easy for a bit"!!!
Youth bike was fairly quiet..(aside from the good 'garage' band on Friday) until the Saturday night Disco. At last an end to the two 60s CDs on constant repeat.. the standard dropped, but the silliness ensued. Firstly I got caught teaching Mary the Marcarena, not the worst thing I've been video-ed doing. Didn't even mind Ian taping me having a breakdancing competition with the guys from the SEN scout group. Until I lost badly when I smacked both my knees on the floor and wiped myself out. Hence the quote above while I was stumbling painfully away from the dance floor!
Still, at least Ian left early so wasn't there to capture the Birdie Song, and double Gangnam Style for Facebook purposes.
Sunday even quieter, so all ready to go by ten, so no guilt trip for skanking off early. Lovely ride home following Les through the Vale of Belvoir. No going slow and steady because of the new panniers there, unlike the wet ride up. Still, at least me, and my luggage, got there eventually.
