Managed to do worse than the wetsuit tan.. sat out for about half an hour waiting playing DS and ended up with several red patches and stripes. Oh well. Nipped to Wilko but failed to get any Colour Magic polish for Bumble.
Had a fantastic evening out caching with Chalkie. We got 3 along the A140 on the way, really fast finds.
Chalkie could believe there was one on this sign..
Parked the car on the cliff top car park and walked into town. Chalkie really liked his fish and chips from Mary Janes. We then burned off all those calories walking through the town to get 4 caches. Chalkie is fast learning about 'base of tree'!
Would never have found the next one one my own. Had to side slip down the slope having got on the wrong path, then we were looking around the obvious monument to Elizabeth Fry. Consulted the clue and the Chalkie found it.
The next one was in a really nice place, on a path over the dunes to the sea. Found it thanks to the hint about Fred and Barney. I placed the Geocoin I had picked up in Cornwall in this one, as it wanted to go around the coastal paths of Britain. Took a lifeboat magnet for the fridge.
Was getting really quite dark by the time Chalkie found the last one (while I was walking round in circles!) but that led to some lovely views. Cromer is fab for sunsets.
So glad Chalkie suggested it, was a lovely evening out.
