Santa Fun Run and lots of tiles

Luckily still up last night to let the Duncombes in, so came home. Had time to finish cleaning the oven and then get some blogging done before the Santa Fun Run. So proud to be part of Team Ashmount :-)

Bath (reading Lost Christmas) and finished Bex's ironing (sneaky cow hid a load more shirts under the covers in the bag) then out into Bumble with the radio and some hot vimto to LEGO-ify the table..

Found some lost mail, including the latest rental disc, so Saving Mr Banks and Ferrari building to finish the weekend.

Chubby Bumble

Finally!!! Took four years, but Bumble is finally a camper van!!

Collected him from Chubby Dubs on Friday night. He is brilliant! I am thick and needed to be shown several times how to work a table, but..

Was gone midnight when I got him home, so went out on Saturday afternoon as a treat for cleaning the oven, we went to the Outwoods.. too many years on from when I very first got him and took him there. He looks amazing, and it's so cosy being all settled down with hot chocolate and a book :-)

Monday:
Literacy. Edible mud. Feels lovely when you stand in it and it squishes between your toes. Feels lovely when it has dried and you pick it off your skin. Does not feel lovely when you're trying to wash it out of clothes.

Tuesday: The force is with Mum... coolest advent calendar ever..

Wednesday: Class 1B not so Christmassy Christmas trip.. to Manor Farm in East Leake.

Prayers were answered and we made it there.. with me driving the minibus for the first time... slowly!
Once we had got the cringe-y nativity scene out of the way we went to the play barn... which was awesome!! There was a pirate ship (and dressing up kit) and a knight's castle that was a massive den of little warrens and holes and a slide that was dark and very easy to get lost in.

After dinner we went to the petting barn.. and I met my twin..

Wed night was house group.. in Onesies. Thurs night managed 55 min run after work at Go. Glad to get it out of the way, and almost getting another tick on the year's targets.

Friday: went to Soham to collect Bumble from Chubby Dubs. Sooooo excited. He is now a whole new level of awesome! Nice meal in the pub but was so busy excitedly rambling at Mum about school stuff and Darth Vader tree plans that we didn't realise the time. Home at well gone midnight. Oops.
