Return of the Mac

Bad pun I know. So.. the MacBook was full beyond help. And too slow to cope with animation. So, I was naughty and used the pay from my second project with TAMBA to buy this little baby, which arrived on Tues 21st, three whole minutes before I had to leave the house to go to work..

Wednesday was the big unpacking, not without a sense of fear and trepidation, that this too would go wrong because I had specifically prayed about it. Fears proved correct when I booted it up and the fan was permanently on full blast. Further prayer and a reboot solved that.

So have spent most of my time at home since then mucking about with it, trying to get it set up, moving stuff from MacBook. Spent far too long sorting iTunes, and I'm only up to Guns N Roses! Anyways, today I managed to find a work around to get the new photos app to use my old iPhoto library, as iPhoto won't even open in Yosemite. So very pleased when it worked, as it meant not having to save every photo as a jpeg to then import it. So... here comes a massive blogging catch up over the next few weeks/months. Will be great to see some photos from recent events now that I have room to upload them.

Lets start with this.. Apple geek much?!
