Dave at Cannons Forge is my new hero

Well, maybe not hero. But he seems like a great guy. Funny and friendly and he loves Harleys ;-)

Big, big progress today on the conversion. Went to Cannons Forge in Worksop to get Bumble's 3/4 Rock and Roll bed fitted. Last time I was in Norwich I'd visited RS Interiors, and his quote ruled him out. But he did recommend the upholsterer around the corner. He was great and we came up with a plan. So today the plan finally got put into action, and the frame, with belts has been fitted. Also got the boards from CF, for Easter's to upholster. The plan was to then wait for Chubby Dubs to fit the cupboards etc then colour match the seats to that, but that may not be do-able with Chubby being booked out, and the bed being very unusable in its current state.

Anyways... massive step forward... finally stopped stalling because I'm scared..

Was a nightmare journey up the M1, but Dave was very understanding. Wandered off Geocaching while they fitted the bed. Got distracted on the way by an Army Surplus store. Escaped unscathed, then looked decidedly shifty in Morrisons feeling all the way round the trolley park. Found the cache next to a severed head (stone). Easier trip back, unable to stop at McArthur Glen, or Decathlon because of looming Cadets (probably for the best after the incident in the newly discovered Nike Factory Store in Norwich).

Got these in the range last time I was in Norwich.. Bumble's storage solution..

And we have finally got started on knitting the blanket. Took forever to decide on the stitch and wool to use. Really hope I can find a decent yellow in chunky wool. Mum seems to be cracking on, almost finished her first square. I've only got this far. I've had a busy couple of days though!

Slightly concerned about that left side. What has gone on there?
