2012 Achievement: really stretching the definition of achievement, but watched all 8 Harry Potter movies in a weekend. Cried for most of no 8, then laughed at the 'grown up' gang, that didn't look any different!
Bumblebee's travels... also featuring the Adventures of Gladis (Queen of Speed)

Surena/Luxe/30litre/23
Let's hope the latest round of online bargain hunting is more successful than the last. Returned the massive Jordan top, and bought an animal top with the refund! Also tried again to get a decent backpack. Karrimor lied about the Urban 30 being 30 litres. It's smaller than my 20 litre school bag! Shame I thought Karrimor was a name I could trust. Still, I'm not convinced about online descriptions. The animal rucksack has two different names (I really, really hope it's the same one I saw in Norwich) and two different dimensions online. I'm in danger of being over-run with backpacks and painted trainers (Converse no longer pink lol)
Dubvans and bikes: Gladius still outside Arnolds. Thinking magnets may be the way forward on the van curtains.

I am the Master
2012 Achievement: Level 40 on Kinect Sports
Was while playing with Ems and George n Gill on Monday. Also got out Hammer Pants on for Dance Paradise!! Hilarious. George has discovered new talents!
Been researching the next rucksack purchase while working for Jamie today. Would love the Animal one but its 40 quid. Think I will get a trusty (and large) Karrimor one. Very important decision lol!
Also been trying to think of Trip plans for this year. Would like to go to the Roald Dahl Museum in Buckinghamshire. Desperate to try the Bogtrotter chocolate cake at the Twit Cafe!
Toni's tonight for her birthday. Apparently instead of us getting Toni a present, she will give us ours! Looking forward to having wellies for this year's camping trips :-)

Easier than Dad's
2012 Achievement: Filed my tax return today. Easy enough when you have all the P60s to hand.
2012 Achievement: first 10k run of the year on Saturday. Nothing spectacular, only 13.1kph. But it's a start. Must decide on an event to do this year. Hopefully not as painful as the 100m bike ride!!
2012 Trip: Curry at Mugal and pool at Rileys!!!

Only 3 hubcaps.. Noooo!
Potential disaster averted when I realised that I had inadvertently used a hubcap for a wing mirror.. oops. Here is my 67 Splittie...
Have played lots of table tennis and lots of Kinect Sports. Thought we would be in trouble for being late for Chalkie's birthday meal because we demanded a rematch in volleyball.. but have got time to sit and do this.
2012 Achievement: Finally beating the xbox at football!!

Scantastic
2012 Achievements: finally sorted all the paperwork that was cluttering up my desk.
Well, there is still a bit of filing to do when I get home, and I'm a bit confused about the status of my current account, and I MUST do my tax return by the end of the month, but I have chucked stuff and scanned stuff. Also finally sent the receipt for Bumble's replacement battery to Rob. Hopefully he will keep his promise regarding Bumble's warranty.
Also did another minor improvement/customisation on Bumble.. he now proudly sports an On the Ball City sticker in the window.. and I cleaned out the sticky mess in the driver's door caused from a summer's worth of half eaten sweets. Yuk.
Almost finished the LEGO campervan. It now has a roof, just needs the funky front (my fave bit) and some wheels!
2012 Trip: Carrow Road
Jon managed to wangle me a free ticket, so I went to the FA cup game at City today. Me and Pops were actually hoping that Burnley would score one more so that Pops would win the sweepstake at work, but you've got to be happy with 4-1. The view from the Lower Barclay should have been great, but it was all a bit stressful where we were.. had to stand up all game to see anything, and I don't really like bad language and taunting other people, even at a football match. Oh well. Come on you Yellows!!

Oh no it isn't
It being a Friday Mum was babysitting Jay Jay so I got to play with the little dude all day :-)
I lost the bet.. he didn't run away screaming, but quite liked 'Dobby'
Think I got 'the laugh' on video today, although not in that corner. We discovered that he won't try tangerine segments however many times you hide it under a raisin, and went to the park where we mastered slopes.
Quickly did Asda once Harry collected the boy. Nan managed to not get poo in the van this time! I popped over the road to check out film scanners. Helpful lady said I'm best going for at least the Plustek 7400. Best save some more pennies!
Mum treated us to panto tickets for Christmas. I went with a pocketful of pic n mix from Asda and the attitude that it was going to be a laugh. It really was. Hilarious. I joined in with all the shouting and was the first to get many of the subtler jokes and puns. The best was when the Dame was dressed in school uniform and blonde bunches.. and did this comedy trip across the stage, and said 'oops I did it again"!!!! I laughed out loud. On my own. The dame had to stop and wait for others to get it!
Didn't expect to find Stephen Fry's elephant in the foyer...

Third time lucky
Finally got the Timber Hill church micro cache. Swear I already poked my fingers in that hole and found nothing. Ah well.
Wandered round to Cookes. I really should bimble around the back streets more often. Some lovely buildings and interesting shops. I also should learn to pretend I know what I'm talking about. Felt like a twit in Cookes rambling on about beaters. Also spotted two very tempting black acoustic Fenders. Hmm too many things to save up for!
May also have found the (almost) perfect van curtain material. The very helpful lady gave me a sample of the black and white checked chef's material, which I successfully dyed yellow. Must now look for tracks or devise some more cunning method of fixing them up. I like the idea of using magnets.

Canary century
Yaaaaay! Found my 100th geocache at Carrow Road!!!
99 was down by the river. I left some yellow Lego in it!
It's not actually there, in the city wall. But close. Was an interesting walk around by the river. Learned about St Julian from a sign by her bridge, and spotted this plaque on another bridge. Points for audacity!
Was forced to treat myself to something in the club shop to commemorate the occasion hehe. Couldn't afford to get anything in this shop though
Number 100 was a micro on Carrow Road, near where we nearly got run over by Elton John many years ago. Luckily there was a clear hint. I hate looking suspicious looking for micros.
Think I will have to get a city shirt sometime, and get Fashnu on the back.

Boy vision
Geocaching: Norwich city centre. Managed to find the Surrey House one about 2 metres from where the taxi dropped us off. Then failed miserably to find the two church micros. I'm so useless at this.
Just been kite flying again. Awesome wind but had to give up when rained on. Came home to get "alright I'm not deaf" from Nan. Somehow managed to not vent the frustration of the whole family and scream "yes you .... are" at her.

Bumble Improvements
Sometime over the last week I gave Bumble a much needed bath. Also cleaned up the rocking horse. It's still got a scary face. Then went round Chalkie's to borrow his Demon Shine. He gave me a hand to polish him up. Then we fitted his bra. Lol. Will always make me laugh. It looks cool, but I'm a bit disappointed the yellows don't match. Oh well.
Got a sticker to commemorate my 100th Cache too.

Aspie Day
X Box, Lego and Fireworks. Perfect day for an Aspie.
Was thinking about New Year's Resolutions, and I agree with French and Saunders that were on Radio 2, that I don't like resolutions because you usually fail. They had 'wishes' instead. Last year I had a list of Goals. I did ok. Should list them here if I remember when I have my notebook to hand.
PUT LIST OF 2011 GOALS HERE
Having spent the morning on the XBox I thought maybe I should use achievements. They are the main reason I like the xbox, and I like numbers, and indicators for completing things. I think maybe I will try to collect achievements this year rather than fail to keep resolutions or have a never ending To Do list permanently hanging over me.
So to start with then
2012 Achievements: 1st Jan: Level 30 in Kinect Sports, 3500 gamerpoints on Xbox, Book1 of the Lego Campervan completed.
Maybe I should also keep a list of getting out and doing stuff things.. even if it's only a little trip out it's still better than mooching around the flat.
2012 Trips (needs a better name) Cromer for the New Year's Day Fireworks.
The last one is not the Millenium Falcon going into Hyperspace... it's the Christmas Tree outside Cromer church and changing the focal length during a long exposure. Neat huh
